Matt and his team are consummate professionals. I cannot praise their worth enough. Over the last few months I have employed them on a range of electrical jobs in the house and what struck me most about them, over and above their knowledge and technical skill, was their positive attitude, friendly manner and ability to overcome obstacles with speed and reassurance. Their ability to work fast and accurately means that costs are very competitive and much can be completed in a days work. Have no doubt that what you will get will be of a high standard and professionally delivered. Richard and Caroline , Salisbury.
"We wanted to renew our kitchen and whilst my husband is a very good DIYer, with all the rules and regulations regarding electrics, he knew his limitations. So, despite names of electricians given by friends, we wanted to ensure that the person we chose was properly qualified to do the work within our home. We searched around and found Matt. What a find! We wanted to rearrange the wall sockets and have new one put in and sort out the main earth bonding. Not only was Matt able to give us the necessary quote at a fair price but he also gave us his valued advice and guidance and always allowed us to make the final decisions. This proved it's worth - we found that the previous 'qualified' electrician had wired the cooker direct to the socket at a diagonal angle - even my husband knew that was wrong and dangerous! It didn't matter what we asked Matt to do; he was there to offer his assistance. He was always prepared to go the extra mile and it was a pleasure doing business with him. He has since done a lot more work for us including fitting a new consumer unit, converting single sockets to doubles, installing electric heaters, installing outside lights and running armoured cable outside for a new circuit. Would we recommend him? Only if it didn't interfere with any work we wanted doing!" A word from the husband: "I agree with everything my 'manager' has said!"Margaret and Henry Sam's - Salisbury, Wiltshire
I would highly recommend Matt Payne as a trustworthy, thorough and polite NICEIC electrician. I was in need of a NICEIC registered electrician to do the 10 year electrical test for our thatched house and having had a very high, unaffordable quote from another business, I looked on the local pages to see if there was anyone else I could try. I read the recommendations and left a message. The lady who rang me was very polite and friendly and was a very reassuring first contact with Matt. He and his apprentice came, on time, did a thorough job and I was impressed that they didn't try and find any extra faults - very professional and I was even happy to leave them the door key. I have recommended them to friends and look forward to having them back for more electrical work in the future. Very many thanks. Sue, East Grimstead.
"I feel I have found an electrician that I could confidently use again and again! Matt was very thorough, fair and conscientious in his work and his name is now permanently in my phone book ready for when I need an electrician again!!"Tracy Gulliver - Salisbury, Wiltshire
"My electrics are vintage 1960's! They have been chopped and changed and added too many times since. Not hard to imagine what Matt was confronted with when he arrived. Much to my relief and within a surprisingly short time he had a plan which after a lot of work all completed within a day, the previous mess had turned into one neat box of switches all ready and tested. All has worked well since then."Jim Ghinn - Verwood, Dorset
